Spain defeated Portugal in the Semi final in Penalty Shoot outs by 4-2 with Portugal missing two of the penalties. After Playing a 120 minute match, the two teams ended up with no goal and so the match went to Penalty Shoot outs which resulted in a loss to Portugal due to their poor decision for Penalty takers. Spain made it to Final after scoring four goals in Penalties compared to two of the Portugal's goals.

Italy defeated Germany by 2-1 in the Semi Final match. Italian Striker Mario Balotelli scored both the goals in the first half of the match by the difference of 16 minutes. Germans could not score even a single goal in the whole match but got a penalty at 90th minute and made it a 2-1 defeat. Though, it didn't go well for the Germans as Italians were a heavy team for them.
