THE WARCRAFT VERSION SWITCHER

The Warcraft Version Switcher allows you to switch between Warcraft versions in the blink of an eye. This allows convenience to watch replays that are not compatible with the version you are using, or playing with some other people using different versions. It is a software which enables you to have multiple versions of Warcraft in one computer.

How to use Warcraft Version Switcher

Step 1: Click on the "Switch Version" button.


Step 2: Double click on the version to which you would like to switch.


Step 3: Click on "Yes" and the game will be patched.

How to Configure Warcraft Version Switcher

At the first run of a newly downloaded Warcraft Version Switcher(or if Warcraft III is moved or reinstalled to other directory), there's a tendency that an alert box will appear saying "Couldn't find Warcraft in: The program won't work until it knows where Warcraft III is located. Please select it manually. Then Restart WVS!".

Here's what you're going to do to configure your WVS:

Step 1: When the alert box saying "Couldn't find Warcraft in: The program won't work until it knows where Warcraft III is located. Please select it manually. Then Restart WVS!" appears just click OK.


Step 2: Locate and double click the Warcraft III folder on your drives then click OK.


Note: Having a hard time locating your Warcraft III folder? Just right click your Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne shortcut then choose Properties. In the Target:, you'll be able to see what drive your Warcraft III is located. Same is true on the Executable Settings of War3 RPG on your Garena Client.

Step 3: WVS will automatically close after you click OK. Run it again and your WVS is now configured. Go to How to use Warcraft Version Switcher if you wish to switch your TFT version.

How to add TFT Versions on Warcraft Version Switcher

Let's assume that you already have a .zip file of a certain TFT Version. Simply copy(Ctrl + C) that .zip file and paste(Ctrl + V) it in the "wvs" folder found inside your Warcraft Version Switcher folder and it's done. Go to How to use Warcraft Version Switcher if you wish to switch your TFT version.

Just a Tip

After you download the Warcraft Version Switcher(wvs.rar), extract it on a new empty folder(you can name the folder as you desire but it's more preferable to name it as Warcraft Version Switcher) so its files would not be scattered.
